The goal of this conference is to inspire PERSONAL AND COMMUNITY change
for the youth in Meadowview. We want to give them ideas about what they
can do in their personal lives, but we also want them to be excited about
working together to change Meadowview.
The conference has been planned by teams of youth and adults working together. The agenda, topics, and workshops are entirely youth-driven.
The Meadowview Partnership, Sacramento ACT, and the Sierra Health Foundation are working together to improve the quality of life for young people in Meadowview. Following this conference, ACT will be launching various youth organizing groups so that youth who attend can become regularly involved in working for change in "The 'View".
